Measures to limit the spread of COVID-19
- Correo Argentino has advised that the Argentinean Government has extended the period of obligatory social isolation until 27 April 2020. However, the postal service, as an essential service provider, has been exempted. As a result, Correo Argentino, will remain open for business and will provide its services as well as it can.
- Notwithstanding its reduced workforce, Correo Argentino has made arrangements to guarantee the continuation of its key services.
- Also, as part of health and safety measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, no letter-post, parcel-post or EMS items will require signatures upon delivery. Instead the postman / postwoman will ask the addressee for a piece of ID and will note down the number in the signature field.
